Sun-Tek Skylights

Sun-Tek promises their skylights will not leak water when properly installed. Sun-Tek glass skylights are available in various combinations of Low-E glass, PPG Azurlite, or bronze tinted glass. Sun-Tek's polycorbonate skylights are made from GE Lexan Resin material which is also used to make crash helmets and bulletproof glass. After a rough opening is prepared, Sun-Tek skylight installation will take 15 minutes to complete. This adds great value in labor savings alone. Sun-Tek likes to stress that their skylights give off more daylight area than any competitor, up to 65% more light will get through a ventilated skylight and 25% more on a fixed skylight (no ventilation). Curb Mount models are installed on a curb (a raised frame of wood that you build around the roof opening). Self flashing models have the curb already built-in for the easiest installations.
